£60,000 NEW ROOM APPEAL
DONATE NOW

The New Room appeal was launched in July 2008, by Steve Pound MP, with the aim of raising £60,000 for:
- An essential ground-floor extension to the Ealing, Hammersmith & Hounslow Samaritans branch
- New training facilities, and the capacity to train more volunteers than ever before
- IT resources for training, education and outreach work
- Improved facilities for visitors to the branch
- A bright and warm training space that can be available to community groups

How can you help?
By supporting the appeal, you'll help us better reach the communities we serve - over 1 million people who live and work in West London. With better facilities, we can train more volunteers and support more callers whenever they need us - day or night.
The following people are publicly supporting the New Room appeal:

  • Alan Keen, MP for Feltham and Heston
  • Dr Alex Dent, Mathematician
  • Professor Andrew Motion, Poet Laureate
  • Andy Slaughter, MP for Ealing, Acton and Shepherd's Bush
